Training

My training has included formal education from the Union Institute and University  of Vermont (Masters in Counseling Psychology, 2008) and years of experience working as a Mental Health Counselor in a variety of settings including a community mental health organization that specialized in serving Spanish-speaking clients and a clinic that provided counseling services to families and children. I have worked with adults, adolescents, and families from many different cultures who faced a wide range of issues: depression, anxiety, trauma, panic disorder, bi-polar disorder, and acculturation issues.
In 2011, I was first introduced to family constellations while living overseas. Since that time, I have trained and studied systemic constellations and now offer this healing approach as a Family Constellations Facilitator in monthly workshops (see "Family Constellations" tab). I have had the privilege of training with many world-renowned trainers in the field including the founder Bert Hellinger and his wife Sophie Hellinger, Mark Wolynn, Francesca Mason Boring, Ursula Franke and Thomas Bryson, Thomas Hubl, Angwyn St. Just, Rupert Sheldrake, Joel Weser, Rosi Steudel and Stephan Hausner. Systemic constellations are an integrated part of the evidenced-based psychotherapy I offer.

Bert Hellinger

"When I lived in South Africa, someone told me what the longest road in Africa is. It is not the road from Cairo to Capetown, it's the way from your head to your heart, and from there to the here and now."
-Bert Hellinger

 Thich Nhat Hanh

“If you look deeply into the palm of your hand, you will see your parents and all generations of your ancestors. All of them are alive in this moment. Each is present in your body. You are the continuation of each of these people.” Thich Nhat Hanh

Thich Nhat Hanh

"Healing means that we dedicate our life to where the light meets the shadow. Where aliveness meets the contraction. Where the potential meets the past. Working on that edge is a constant revelation and expansion."
